Singapore KrisFlyer Miles are worth discussing, not just for the sweet spots on the award charts, but because of the abundance of ways to earn.
Each of the three big transferrable bank points transfers 1:1 to Singapore Miles: Chase UR points, Amex MR points, and Citi TY points (plus, Marriott 3:1).
This post however is not about earning, it's about occasions when you may want to transfer to Singapore Miles. Whether it's the cheapest flight to Hawaii you're looking for, or availability due to the ability to book partners 352 days out, there are many reasons to use Singapore Miles.

I like the timing on this as it follows my How To Earn IHG Points With IHG's Promos. This post has a list of the cheapest ~200 IHG hotels, map of the cheapest 1,000+ hotels, the best of the cheapest hotels, etc...

Largely due to once seeing Rick Steve's recommendation of Gimmewald, Switzerland, it has been on my bucket list for many years. Last fall we made that dream a reality and it was amazing.
I try not to be hyperbolic or recommend every place I've been (which it seems most travel bloggers who haven't been a ton of places do), but this was as amazing to me as our recent trip to Havasupai Falls in Arizona.
In contrast, there are many places I don't recommend, even on that trip.
