Hilton's Devaluations were huge as the top price went up to 95,000 points for a single night. However, Categores 1 & 2 are only 5,000 points & 10,000 points. 5,000 points for one night is a fantastic deal.

So we made an interactive map with every Hilton HHonors Category 1 & 2 Hotel. We'll then give suggestion for what the best hotels on this map are, and then a complete list of the hotels at the end. Enjoy. ;-)

boraborahiltonAfter Hilton decided to make their points nearly worthless, I have had trouble finding good uses for HHonors Points. Points so worthless I argued to try to avoid paying for Hilton hotels (although found that I'm a liar if it's the only hotel chain in a city like Innsbruck). That being said, I do have a special spot in my heart for the Hilton credit card.

"How can it be? B-b-but you said Hilton HHonors Points are worthless?"

Well, that's true. But one of their credit cards gives free nights, not points....

My thoughts when I first found out about the Hilton HHonors points devaluation were of thorough disappointment, no doubt. But it's just worse than I originally thought. Surely they would throw a bone after a month or something... but no. For the last little bit I've been trying to write a post on the New Best Use of Hilton HHonors Points, and let's just say it's thinner on content compared to the other "best of" posts.

Even running a promotion and earning 1,000 points... I'm 1/95th of the way to a free night at most Conrads, which is absurd.
