Booking a ticket with the many legs, the hardest part becomes availability. Of course, it was made more difficult because I wanted to fly Singapore’s 77W. I’ve talked a lot about how to book tickets with stopovers and open-jaws with United. The other difficult thing here is that I started my trip in Guam to save miles and see more. Why? Again, this entire route was only 40,000 miles and is all business class.
This was a big ticket that included many places so I’ll give a few highlights.
It is hard to beat Air New Zealand Business Premier. An awesome experience with awesome seats. (If I were going to Asia I would fly Singapore Airlines simply for the beds).
Singapore Airlines Business Class Lounge is the finest business class lounge I have ever seen. Has anyone seen anything finer?
New Zealand is a great place for adrenaline junkies but Rarotonga was a great place to relax and snorkel.
None of the hotels blew me away this trip. Oddly enough, my favorite this trip was the Radisson Blu Sydney. But again, I wasn’t there long enough to write about it.
It was almost too much flying for even me. Next time I would make the entire thing either Air NZ or first class for that much flying. Also, I’ve seen many Pacific Islands now and my next trips are new places. Although, I do have a few more Pacific trips to share…
