Today we got upgraded to the biggest room in the Radisson Suites Bangkok. It's an awesome room I must say.

I pretty much followed all the steps I gave in my post on how to get room upgrades at hotels.

We checked in at 1pm again and I'm only staying 1 night, unfortunately. Though I'm seriously considering doing a bait-and-switch, as they say. They give you the upgrade possibly because you're only staying one night and therefore they can still sell it the next night. I knew this day would come but it was more stressful than I would have imagined. A perfect storm I guess. And when I make mistakes, they tend to be big. But... maybe I’m overreacting. Judge for yourself.

It's been hard to update since we landed in Sri Lanka a few days ago for a number of reasons, mostly the strikes.
