One perk that keeps the frugal applying for the Platinum card despite it’s $450 fee is it’s access to lounges via Priority Pass. Perhaps you have noticed that this top membership to Priority Pass will get you into any lounge without any cost but will charge you $27 for a guest. Read moreLast week I went over different Best Rate Guarantees and while Marriottʼs isnʼt the best it is a very do-able guarantee. Marriottʼs policy is that if you book through Marriott and find a better price elsewhere, your price will be matched and discounted 25%. You must have “a completed Claim Form submitted, within 24 hours of your initial reservation. Your claim must also be submitted no later than 24 hours before your check-in time.” This is no joke. I donʼt even bother with corporate codes.
