Their policy is that simple, book with us and find a lower rate on another site and get a free night on your stay. If you have a one night stay, it's completely free. More than ever I'm finding that the best uses of IHG Rewards are with the deals and sales they have. Which is fine for the extremely flexible, the last minute bookers and the constant traveler (me, me and me). Otherwise there are a few gems in the award chart that are good for more traditional use. It's actually one of the best lists in a while and the sale of IHG points is tomorrow on Daily Getaways! So we have a lot to go over.
What is PointBreaks?
It's where Priority Club, aka IHG, list a number of hotels that can be had for 5,000 points. Some of them are 35,000 points a night normally. They are limited availability and are only good for two months. So this list is good for booking now until Aug 31st.

When flying into Puerto Rico our first hotel was an easy choice. How about the hotel near the airport, with the nicest beach in San Juan and one completely free? No points, no cash. Free. It's a no brainer. It was a beautiful hotel and completely worth the price we paid. ;-)
