When flying into Puerto Rico our first hotel was an easy choice. How about the hotel near the airport, with the nicest beach in San Juan and one completely free? No points, no cash. Free. It's a no brainer. It was a beautiful hotel and completely worth the price we paid. ;-)

Lets be honest, I 've done absolutely nothing to deserve my "Gold Status" except send an email, but they sure do treat their Gold's well. A suite upgrade and $20 towards the bar was part of the reason we loved this hotel.
